Typically we’re not ones to participate in the LGBT rumor mill. Some people choose to live private lives and we respect that at ELIXHER. But we’re such big fans of Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts that when rumors about nearing nuptials started circulating, we had to send our congratulatory wishes.

Roberts made her highly-anticipated return to television last month — approximately five months after receiving a bone marrow transplant to treat MDS (myelodysplastic syndromes), online entertainment news source Mstars News reports.

As fans watch a healthy and glowing Roberts make her way back onto the morning and primetime broadcasting scene, rumors surrounding the 52-year-old anchorwoman’s personal love life continue to swirl. An inside source recently revealed exclusively to Mstars that Roberts is currently dating Storm Sahara, an independent film director and a prominent figure in the LGBT community. The couple keeps their relationship very private, but they are allegedly planning a secret wedding for sometime in the near future.

Last year, the ABC News TV host interviewed President Barack Obama when he affirmed his stance on the freedom to marry for all couples, including same-sex partners.

Our inner fangirl hopes the news is true. If Roberts is indeed getting hitched, we wish her nothing but the best. We love you, Robin!
