Chicago CIMM Fest Performance at Wicker Park Art Center

There will be a loud queer presence at this year’s Chicago International Movies & Music Festival when Sister Spit 2012 arrives to showcase new material by their performance gang at Wicker Park Art Center. After performances by artists such as acclaimed author Dorothy Allison, slam poet and 2010′s Mr. Transman Kit Yan, and writer/musician Brontez Purnell, Original Plumbing will host an afterparty featuring transman rapper Katastrophe at Beauty Bar. Sex toy goodies will be raffled, cabaret numbers will be performed, photobooth snapshots will be taken, and hot fire will be spit at this irreverent celebration of queer entertainment.
