Episode 7 of Skye’s The Limit, “Mercury in Retrograde,” is chock-full of relationship dynamics, especially those of the uncomfortable and misunderstood nature.

Skye struggles with conflicting feelings about Jay’s forthcoming relocation creeping ever near. After weeks of disconnection, Taylor and Skye finally speak. The conversation, however, leaves Taylor uneasy about the status of their relationship. Cassie’s new state of mind provokes a heart-to-heart chat with Skye. Carter “hits up” Marisol about business…and maybe, a little pleasure. Taylor gets hit with some sisterly hard love that sends her to Mother Indigo’s front door.

The DC-based series continues to provide a refreshing take on the lesbian-driven webisode. The cast represents an array of shades, shapes, gender presentations and identities, portraying storylines that are just relatable.
